We’re excited to announce an important step in the evolution of our work at The Climate Reality Project Europe: the introduction of four Regional Organizers (ROs) who will support the growing network of Climate Hubs across the continent.
This marks a new phase in our strategy to build local leadership, deepen community engagement, and scale grassroots climate action throughout Europe.
Why Climate Hubs?
The Climate Hubs model is a city-based approach to organizing climate action. We’re shifting toward decentralized, locally-led Hubs that bring together Climate Reality Leaders and community members to create tangible change in their cities and regions.
Already, over 20 Hubs are already in the process of setting up and this number continues to grow.
What do Regional Organizers do?
Each Regional Organizer is responsible for supporting Climate Hubs in a specific region of Europe. They:
Onboard and guide new Hubs
Connect Hub leaders with each other
Facilitate sharing of best practices
Monitor engagement and identify support needs
Provide insight into regional climate contexts
👉 Note: Regional Organizers support the network on a part-time basis (one day per week), so while they are available to help, their time is focused on providing strategic and region-wide guidance.
